First Responder ID Change Form

Each Cattaraugus County First Responder will be issued two identification tags. The first tag is the responder’s identification tag and its color will depend on the qualifications of its recipient. The second tag will be a green Accountability tag and will be issued to all first responders.

Identification Tag:

Red: Interior Firefighter

Yellow: Exterior Firefighter

Blue: Emergency Medical Services

Orange: HazMat

White: Fire Police & Auxiliary

Cattaraugus County Office of Emergency Services provides and coordinates several types of emergency services- related training, including:

  • Fire service

  • Emergency Medical Services

  • American Heart Association CPR/ AED/ First Aid

  • Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

  • Advanced Incident Command System (ICS)

Cattaraugus County Fire Coordinator - Christopher Baker

Within the Office of Emergency Services staff are the County Fire Coordinator and five Deputy Fire Coordinators, one for each county fire district (made up of multiple fire response districts/ fire departments) in Cattaraugus County.  These Coordinators oversee and direct fire service activity including training and response.

The Date for this class has changes to:

Sat. May 7th
Time: 08:00-11:00 & 12:00- 15:00

The class will still be held at the Yorkshire Fire Department.
