Environmental Health Services Fees

All fees charged for Environmental Health services are established by the Cattaraugus County Legislature through local law.

The download below is the most recent revision of the local law establishing fees to be charged by the Cattaraugus County Health Department.  This law became effective August 1, 2011. 

Please note that with the establishment of this fee schedule, non-profit organizations are no longer exempt from fees charged for Environmental Health services.

Tobacco Use/Distribution Laws

The Environmental Health Division is responsible for the lawful retail distribution and use of tobacco products in public places.  This includes tobacco product sales to minors as well as enforcement of the “Clean Indoor Air Act” (CIAA) which prohibits the use of tobacco in public indoor spaces and workplaces.
