Successful Santa Sheriff Giving Season!

Little Valley, NY - Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb announced today that the Santa Sheriff Program  provided Christmas presents and dinner for 44 Cattaraugus County families a total of 173 men, women, and children. This is 9 more families than last year and is the highest number that the program has seen since it began in 2004.  Each year we find a greater need for help in our communities and we do everything possible to provide as many as we can.

Sheriff Timothy Whitcomb believes that this great community will continue to provide the donations needed each year in order to make Christmas a day to remember for our neighbors.

He would also like to take a moment and thank all of the business owners and organizations that made the donations to make this year's program a HUGE success !!! With a special thanks to Kim Harrison from the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services for organizing this year's program, and her elves from the Department of Social Services and the Sheriff's Office.
