Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of five additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now ninety five as there are four hundred and twenty six residents who have recovered from COVID-19.

The five hundred and thirty sixth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person and recently developed cough, sneezing, runny nose and chest tightness. She was tested for COVID-19 on November 5th and her test results on November 7th indicated that she was positive for the virus.

The five hundred and thirty seventh confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He recently developed fever, chills, congestion, headaches, and body aches. He was tested for COVID-19 on November 4th and his test results on November 7th indicated that he was positive for the virus.

The five hundred and thirty eighth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She recently developed chills and body aches. She was tested for COVID-19 on November 4th and her test results on November 7th indicated that she was positive for the virus.

The five hundred and thirty ninth confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He recently developed chills, nausea, fatigue, body aches and chest discomfort. He was tested for COVID-19 on November 6th and his test results on November 8th indicated that he was positive for the virus.

The five hundred and fortieth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the northwest quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history.

She reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person and recently developed congestion, headaches, and loss of taste and smell. She was tested for COVID-19 on November 5th and her test results on November 8th indicated that she was positive for the virus.
