Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of twenty additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now one hundred and thirty seven as there are four hundred and seventy four residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
The six hundred and fourteenth confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He recently developed body aches and loss of taste and smell. He was tested for COVID-19 on November 9thand his test results on November 15thindicated that he was positive for the virus.
The six hundred and fifteenth confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. He reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person and recently developed congestion, cough, runny nose, sweats, loss of smell. He was tested for COVID-19 on November 14thand his test results on November 15thindicated that he was positive for the virus.
