Health Department

The Cattaraugus County Health Department, in partnership with the Gowanda School District will host a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Gowanda High School on Tuesday, June 22, 2021.

A choice between either the Pfizer vaccine or the Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine will be offered to attendees at this clinic.

Pfizer vaccine requires the administration of a second dose within 21 days of the initial dose. The department will schedule your second dose vaccine on July 13, 2021.

The only COVID-19 vaccine that has emergency-use authorization for any individual 12 years of age and older, is the Pfizer vaccine.  A parent/legal guardian whose consent will be obtained at the time of vaccination must accompany any minor seeking vaccination.

Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) is also being administered at this clinic and requires a single dose of vaccine.  Individuals 18 years of age and older are eligible to receive the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine.
