Per Directive 1-2020 - Amendment No. 3 Cattaraugus County, New York, the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles Office in Delevan is open.

I, Howard V. VanRensselaer, Chairman, Cattaraugus County Legislature, in accordance with a declaration of a State of Emergency issued on March 15, 2020 and subsequent extensions thereto and pursuant to Section 25 of the State Executive Law, hereby issue the following directive(s):

The Department of Motor Vehicles Office in Delevan will be open to the public.

However, in order to comply with social distance guidelines, the Delevan Office will employ adeli-style number system to regulate entry. Customers will be prompted to take
a number and wait outside until their number comes up. Only then will customers be permitted to enter the office and get in line.

All customers are required to wear aface-covering and must follow the social distancing guides provided.

Permit testing has resumed at all DMV offices.

This Directive is effective March 1, 2021 and shall remain in effect until rescinded or until the State of Emergency expires, whichever occurs first.
