eLearning AHA Courses

American Heart Association (AHA) eLearning is a solution for those that are unable or unwilling to wait for a classroom course to become available.  Students participating in eLearning complete an online portion then attend a hands-on practice and testing session with an AHA Instructor.  Successful completion of both the online and hands-on portions results in the appropriate 2 year certification for the course completed.

Online Portion

The online portion is purchased and completed online by the participant at any time convenient for them.  The course is a self-paced and uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatization videos, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students the appropriate knowledge and skills.

Hands-on Portion

After successful completion of the online portion, students attend a hands-on skills session with a certified AHA Instructor. The session will focus on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussion of local protocols and skills testing.  The hands-on portion, based on the student's level of comfort, will take about 60-90 minutes to complete.
