A New exhibit has opened at the Cattaraugus County Museum in Machias!  Titled “From Forest to Farm”, the exhibit features a wide variety of tools, primarily representing agriculture and the lumber industry.  The showcase of the exhibit is a display of saws and sharpening tools on loan from the collection of Mr. Allan Fish of Great Valley; some dating back to 1809.  Come and see!

The museum is located on the first floor of the Stone House, 9824 Route 16, Machias.  If you have any questions, our number is 716-353-8200 and we can be reached during our normal business hours which are Tuesday through Friday, 9-4.
