Lt. David Schuman Graduates from 250th FBI National Academy

                        Sheriff Timothy S. Whitcomb proudly announces the graduation of Lt. David Schuman from the 250thFBINationalAcademy atQuantico,Virginia on Friday September 21, 2012. Two Hundred and sixty-four law enforcement officers from 49 states and 24 international countries, three military organizations and four federal civilian organizations participated this session.

            Internationally known for its academic excellence, the National Academy program, held at the FBI Academy, offers 10 weeks of advanced investigative, management, and fitness training for selected officers having proven records as professionals within their agencies. On average, these officers have 19 years of law enforcement experience and usually return to their agencies to serve in executive-level positions.

            Lt. David Schuman is currently in his 20th year of law enforcement is assigned as a Road Patrol Lieutenant. He is a member of the Special Response Team, the coordinator of Field Training Officer Program for new hires, supervises civilian office personnel and has been an instructor at the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Academy (NYS zone 13 training academy) inJamestown,NY for the past 10 years.
