Cattaraugus County Health Department was notified of nine additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 residents within Cattaraugus County. The department’s active positive COVID-19 caseload is now ninety nine as there are four hundred and thirty eight residents who have recovered from COVID-19.
The five hundred and fiftieth confirmed case is a female resident who resides on the southwest quadrant of the county, who deny any significant travel history. She reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person but also reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.). She was tested for COVID-19 on November 6thand her test results on November 10thindicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty first confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the northeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He was recently hospitalized with weakness, fatigue, and abdominal discomfort. He was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 9th and his test results indicated that he was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty second confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history. She reports being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person but also reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches). She was tested for COVID-19 on November 7th and her test results on November 10th indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty third confirmed case is a male resident who resides in the southwest quadrant of the county, who denies and significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. He recently developed fever, chills, headaches, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, loss of taste and smell. He was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 5th and his test results indicated that he was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty forth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She is a healthcare worker who reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.) and was tested for COVID-19 on November 2nd as part of a weekly screening requirement of all employees and her test results on November 9th indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty fifth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She is a healthcare worker who reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.) and was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 10th as part of a weekly screening requirement of all employees and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty sixth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She is a healthcare worker who reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.) and was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 10th as part of a weekly screening requirement of all employees and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty seventh confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She works for a healthcare facility and recently developed cough, runny nose, shortness of breath, and headaches. She was tested for COVID-19 on November 5th as part of a weekly screening requirement of all employees and her test results on November 10thindicated that she was positive for the virus.
The five hundred and fifty eighth confirmed case is a female resident who resides in the southeast quadrant of the county, who denies any significant travel history or being in direct contact with a positive COVID-19 person. She reports being asymptomatic (no fever, no cough, no body aches, etc.) and was given a rapid test for COVID-19 on November 10th as part of a screening process of the facility and her test results indicated that she was positive for the virus.
The department has begun a thorough contact tracing investigation for those individuals that they have been in contact with and the places that they have visited.
We would like to reiterate that if any resident experience fever, cough, shortness of breath or whole body aches they should contact their health care provider (avoid going directly to an Urgent Care facility, or the Emergency Room before calling).
